In the coming Sri Lanka tour of India 2022 and the IND and SL T20I game will feature three matches. The IND and SL T20I series comprises two games.
The India match between India and Sri Lanka T20I series will begin first and will be then the Test series will follow. This T20I series will start on the 24th of February (Thursday) and will begin with the opening game scheduled to be played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

IND vs SL 2022 T20I Squads
India will be guided by Rohit Sharma in the IND vs SL T20I series. India has announced an 18-member team of players for the T20I series. Virat Kohli, as well as Rishabh Pant, are allowed to rest in this T20I series.

BCCI has nominated Rohit Sharma as the new Test skipper of India. Hence, the right-handed batsman is now the captain of India in all three formats. Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara have been rested for IND vs SL Test series. Wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha is also rested for the series.

The India match between India and SL T20I as well as the Test Series will take place from February 24 through March 16 2022. IND Vs SL T20I matches will commence at 7 pm IST.
