IPL 2022 Mega Auction Announced

The IPL 2022 mega auction is set to be held in Bengaluru in the second week of February between 12-13. Are You Waiting Right? Yes, We Also Waiting to watch IPL 2022 Mega Auction Where IPL Players are Retained in their Teams or not. This Year is so special Because of New Team Lucknow and Ahmedabad. First time both teams participated in the IPL 15th Edition.

Meanwhile, a total of 1,214 players have registered for the Auction; whose deadline was set for January 21. The list includes 270 capped players, 903 uncapped players, and 41 players from associated countries. Apart from 896 Indian players, a total of 318 foreign players have registered for the Auction. Australia, South Africa, and the West Indies have the most players on the auction list. There are a total of 48 players from South Africa, 59 players from Australia, and 41 players from the West Indies. Apart from these three, there are 36, 30, and 29 players from Sri Lanka, England, and New Zealand respectively. Tata will remain the main sponsor of the Indian Premier League

Key Players Who Missed Out on the IPL Mega Auction:

Chris Gayle is one big name that is missing from the big pool of players. Gayle happens to have played for 3 franchises previously and has dominated the IPL since its inception. Sir Ben Stokes has also not opted to put his name in the auction. Also, Sam Curran and Chris Woakes have opted out. The absence of these English Players is due to requests from the ECB. Sam Curran is going to work on a rehabilitation program for his fitness. Mitchell Starc was expected to put his name in but has opted out too.
